Torani-Making My Morning Sweeter One Cup of Joe At A Time

I love my morning coffee, so much so that sometimes I'll repeat that cup of coffee again in the afternoon!  But I don't like the same flavor every time, I like to change it up, pretend I'm at a coffeehouse and not in my little ole kitchen.  Torani helps me do just that!

Torani has over 100 flavors, from your basic French Vanilla to Chicken 'n Waffles (I'm not even kidding), they have something for everyone.  Since I am trying to keep the holiday pounds from piling on I tried the Sugar-Free Pumpkin Pie and the Sugar-Free Hazelnut.  I simply added a little splash to my coffee with some milk and I had a coffee house-esque kind of cup of coffee!  It's a wonderful way to start the day!

Check out Torani for yourself and find the flavors you can't wait to try in your coffees, hot chocolates, and recipes!

Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Review & Giveaway

It's the sneezing, coughing, sore throat time of year..BLECH!  One of the most irritating parts of a cold to me is the sore scratchy throat, but I cannot stand the taste of cough drops and throat lozenges.  Lucky for me I have discovered Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops!  Oh Pine Bros. where have you been all my
life?!

Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops have been around and soothed sore throats for over 140 years.  They have several flavors to choose from including: Wild Cherry, Natural Honey, and for a limited time this holiday season, Licorice.  I cannot find Licorice so if you find it please, please, PLEASE, leave me a comment and let me know where.  Next year they will also have a Lemon Citrus flavor.  I love their "softish" consistency, and they sooth without a horrible strong flavor.  Sold at CVS, Safeway, and other retailers.  You can also follow Pine Bros. on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on new flavors, and promotions.  Right now they have some pretty great giveaways running on their Facebook page.

Disney Games For Christmas? Why Yes Please...And Thank You!

Games, games, and more games!  That is one of the biggest requests from my two sons this Christmas.  There are so many out there though and short of renting them and trying them first (who has time for that?!)  you might be a little lost about which ones to pick up.  I'm here to help!  I reviewed 3 Wii games, very anticipated Wii games I might add,  to help you decide which one, two or all three are right for your kiddos!

The first one is Disney Epic Mickey Two: The Power of Two.  It is available for the Wii, Xbox 360, PS3,  Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.  You play Mickey Mouse as you team up with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to save Wastleland.  Rated "E" for Everyone this game is suitable for my 6 yr. old though it does require some reading to move on to new places so he needs help sometimes.  With different consequences for each action it's never the same twice so it never gets boring.  This one is a keeper in our home.

The next one is Brave: The Video Game.  It is available for Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo DS, PC, and Mac.  You play as Merida, as you battle your way through mythical Scotland to end a magical curse and save the kingdom.   Rated "E" for Everyone this is a fun, action packed game.  Lots of jumping, running, and battling kept my little man pretty interested.  He has not even seen this movie yet and it didn't matter, it is just a fun game.  Another keeper!

And last but not least is Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure.  It's available for Wii, Nintendo 3DS, PC, and Mac.  It has all the great Disney princesses: Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle, and Tiana.  A spell has been cast over the kingdom and you must undo the spell.  We let my son's little friend Jessica try this one out, he wasn't too keen on playing a "girly" game lol  She loved it!  It's rated "E" for Everyone as well and kept her attention for a good little while.

So there you go, 3 games ideas for your kiddos this Christmas!  And because I want to help you out even more, yeah I like you THAT much, I am giving away 1 of each of these games in your preferred format!  Enter the giveaways below!

Tis The Season for Photo Gifts!

I love, love, LOVE giving photo gifts at Christmas.  Sure you can buy Grandpa a power tool, or Grandma a pair of slippers, but wouldn't an amazing picture of their grandkids be so much better?!   Let me answer that for you... YES! Also let me remind you that it's already Dec. 3rd!  Yikes!  So I have found a one stop shop for you to get your Christmas cards printed, a canvas print ordered for Grandma and Grandpa, Coasters for your Sister-in-Law, and magnets for you (to remind you how cute your kiddos are, even when they are pushing you to the absolute limit lol).

MailPix.com has just about anything you can imagine.  They offer prints of all different sizes from wallets to 20x30 enlargements.  They even offer 5x5, 8x8, and 12x12 prints perfect for your favorite Instagram pictures!  Speaking of Instagram, you can sync your Facebook and Instagram accounts with Mailpix making it that much easier to create your photo gifts!  Mailpix also offers photo gifts including but not limited to mousepads, mugs, keepsake boxes, keychains, reusable totes, canvas totes, cutting boards, ornaments, magnets and so much more!

I was excited to get some Christmas shopping done early so I ordered an array of photo gifts from MailPix.  First let me say that it is SUPER easy to create your gift.  The site is very user friendly and makes it quick and easy to create that special gift.  Once ordered, the products came in in a very timely manner!  Right now when you visit their site they have the "Ordered by" dates listed for you to receive your orders by Christmas.  I ordered a bunch of wallet sized magnets which I absolutely love.  The quality of the magnets is crazy good.  I was afraid they wouldn't be true to their original color, or distorted but they were amazing!  That was a "me" gift lol  I also ordered a 8x10 canvas for my MIL, a keepsake box for my stepdaughter, and a couple of keychains.  ALL of these are just perfect!  Good quality products with great printing=some very happy family members this Christmas!  Thank you Mailpix!

Now is the time to get those orders placed, and you are in luck, MailPix has some great deals going on right now like 50% off ALL cards, 4x6 magnets are only $2 each and wallet size are only $1!  And right now get a free Picture Keeper with your order (just pay shipping and handling)!   Check out all their photo gifts to find more special discounts just in time for the holidays!  You can also follow Mailpix on Facebook, Twitter, and their Blog.

WaxVac Review & Giveaway

I have a 6yr. old who hates having things put in his ears, a couple of stepdaughters who are prone to swimmer's ear, and a pool. So when I got an opportunity to try WaxVac I was all over it!  We have always used Q-tips in our house, even though we know it's not the best way to handle ear cleaning, and it's a miracle my kids haven't gotten concussions from bopping themselves on the head trying to get water out of their ears after a swim.  WaxVac has changed all that!

WaxVac is a little hand held device that provides a constant but gentle suction to remove moisture and dirt from your ear canal.  WaxVac comes with 8 silicone tips, so each member of the family can have their own and a cleaning brush.  It's quiet so it won't startle younger kids, and has a neat little light on the other end to help you see inside those little ears.  The WaxVac is safe, as it only goes so far into the ear canal, allowing you to clean properly without damaging your ear drum.   Now that we've tried this, I can't imagine ever going back to Q-tips, and I can rest assured that my youngest has clean ears, and that his inability to hear me tell him to clean  his room is "Selective hearing" lol

You can purchase you own WaxVac HERE!  And right now when you order one WaxVac you another WaxVac free complete with 8 more silicone tips and a cleaning brush, you just pay shipping and handling.

"Click: An Online Love Story" Review & Giveaway

Need a light, fun, quick read this holiday season to help you take a breather from all the stress and chaos this time of year can bring?  Well I have just the eBook for you!

"Click: An Online Love Story" is a fun, light hearted love story about a single and turning 30, Renee Greene.  She doesn't have any prospective partners and decides to join her friend and sign up for an online dating service.  You can just imagine what the next 300 some pages will hold!

I LOVED this book!  I started it on our 3 1/2 hour drive to Tulsa for Thanksgiving and finished it that night before bed lol! I loved the style it is written in.  The story is told in emails.....yep just emails, but the way they are written and strung together you get the whole picture!  You will love all the characters and their different little quirks. By the end you will be cheering, (sometimes out loud...at least I did), for Renee to find her match!

You can find the eBook "Click: An Online Love Story" by Lisa Becker at Amazon.com right now for only 99¢!  Seriously for less then $1 you can check out and gift this funny and endearing book!  You can also find "Click: An Online Love Story" at Barnesandnoble.com, and the iTunes Bookstore for less than $5.  You can also get it in print for $12.  Watch the book trailer at Youtube HERE

2 Great Gift Ideas For Animal Lovers

I love animals!  My ideal world would be me and my family living on a nice chunk of land with lots of room for animals of all sorts plus a no kill shelter for dogs and cats and anything else that needed rescuing.  But in reality it's me and my family living in a nice cozy home with 2 adorable chihuahua mixes, Dora & Diego (named by my son and stepdaughter), a hamster named Penny, and two fish Soapy and Gary.   So I think I've established that I like animals lol  That is why I loved these two books from Chicken Soup For The Soul.

"Chicken Soup for the Soul: I Can't Believe My Dog Did That!" is a great read, full of all kinds of dog stories.  From stories of heroism and and saving lives, to stories of tom foolery and crazy tricks dogs play on us humans. You'll find 101 stories that will make you laugh, maybe cry, and at some point you WILL say "I can't believe a dog did that!"  This would make a GREAT gift for that dog lover in your family!

"Chicken Soup for the Soul: I Can't Believe My Cat Did That!" is also a fun book.  Read about cats and their 9 lives, how some are escape artists (This one doesn't surprise me. Cats always seem a little sneaky to me), and how others care for the sick.  Another GREAT gift idea for the cat lover in your life.

One Thousand Gifts Devotional Review & Giveaway

I have started making my Christmas shopping lists, which to some of you I know isn't a big accomplishment lol  In fact I have a few friends who have already finished their shopping!  Yikes!  I would love to be THAT person, but I'm not, and honestly I'm ok with that.  I have a pretty good idea what I want to get everyone this year, but I was a little stumped on a couple of my girlfriends.  Then I got to read Ann Voskamp's One Thousand Gifts Devotional.  This book is absolutely getting gifted this year to a few lucky ladies (can't say who, they may be reading this ;) )

Ann Voskamp the author of "One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to live Fully Right Where You Are", has outdone herself this time with her followup "One Thousand Gifts Devotional".  Each devotional includes a daily scripture, a prayer, and room after to jot down your own thoughts.  There are 60 devotions, each one written in such a way that you cannot help but get something inspirational out of each one.  Ann wrote these devotions as a way for us to find grace in the midst of all our daily drama, deadlines, debt, and daily duties.  There is truly something to be thankful for every day if we just allow ourselves to see it.  Ann's book does that, it helps put things in perspective, and helps to open your heart to Him, so that you to can find the graces that are hidden in our daily lives.

You can learn more about Ann Voskamp by visiting her daily online journal at www.aholyexperience.com or visit her website at www.onethousandgifts.com
"One Thousand Gifts:Devotional " releases this week so be sure to pick yours up today as well as those you are going to give as gifts this year, because trust me you will want to!
